Symplectic
by Yiannis Loizides (George Mason University)
The quantization-commutes-with-reduction ([Q,R]=0) theorem suggests how one might associate a Riemann-Roch number ("quantization") to a singular symplectic quotient. I will describe a result stating that this Riemann-Roch number is preserved for a suitable notion of equivalence, motivated by viewing such symplectic quotients as derived stacks. This is joint work with Reyer Sjamaar.
