We consider an atomic model of deposition of materials over a quasi-periodic medium where the atoms of the deposited material interact with the medium and with their nearest neighbors. This is a quasi-periodic version of the well known Frenkel-Kontorova model. We will introduce KAM theories in a-posteriori form and prove the KAM theorem for the existence of certain quasi-periodic equilibria.
