Many recent progresses in the understanding of the dynamics of quadratic complex polynomials (z^2+c) are due to the existence, proved by Inou and Shishikura, of an invariant class for near parabolic renormalization. I will present an alternative construction of an invariant class, that should allow to extend these results to unicritical polynomials (z^d+c).
