The goal of the talk is to present a recent result (obtained jointly with Ilia Binder) on separation of the finite scale eigenvalues for quasiperiodic Schroedinger operators in the regime of positive Lyapunov exponent. I will provide an overview of relevant aspects of the theory of Schroedinger operators and I will discuss the relation between our result and inverse spectral problems.
